POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Fullstack Software Developer will help in the development of software and specialized utility programs. The Full Stack Developer will play a key role in analyzing user needs and support in the development of software solutions for client use.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design scalabe and maintainable web applications that interface with databases such as SQL/NoSQL.
• Developing technical solutions, and documenting the solution architecture and design using standard design tools
• Design, implement, or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
• Creating maintainable, adaptable, scalable, defect-free code using software development best practices and coding standards (i.e. software reuse, refactoring, continuous integration, test automation, secure development, Test Driven Development, static code analysis, peer/code review)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree preferred.
• Active IRS MBI Clearance.
• 3-6+ Years of Experience in full-stack development (JAVA and JEE) with detailed understanding of user interface frameworks and back-end software architecture interactions
• Expertise in Frontend development using either React, Angular, or Vue
• Expertise in Backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java and/or Spark.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, JQuery, Ajax, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
• Experience with API Design, OpenShift, or Kubernetes or Data Bricks
• Strong design and development experience of Microservices and Restful API in an AWS and Docker platform.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills in providing technical direction and hands-on software development to include design, development, and testing. The ability to work on multiple concurrent projects is essential.
