Job Description: - We are seeking a highly skilled Workday HCM Talent Management Specialist to manage the Workday HCM Talent Management Suite.
- This role will focus on coordinating work efforts across business owners, subject matter experts, functional analysts, developers, and security analysts.
- The specialist will implement requests prioritized in the Workday solution, with a particular focus on the onboarding and offboarding areas.
- The scope of work includes Recruitment, Applicant Tracking, Onboarding/Offboarding, Position Description Management, and Organizational Charts.
Requirement/Must Have:
- Bachelors degree in business administration, human resources, computer science, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- 5+ years of experience in a lead, functional/technical, or similar role focused on Workday Human Capital Management (HCM), with talent management experience.
- Demonstrated experience bridging the gap between people management and Workday digital solutions.
- Deep knowledge of HCM practices, compliance regulations, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in Workday HCM and its applications, including configuration, design, and testing.
- Experience with solution design, data mapping, reporting tools, and integration technologies.
- Thorough knowledge of and experience following the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including HR business owners, IT developers, and project managers.
Experience:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Workday HCM, specifically in Talent Management.
- Proven track record in designing, configuring, testing, and deploying Workday solutions.
- Previous experience working with public sector organizations is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience troubleshooting system issues and identifying solutions.
Responsibilities or Duties:
- Manage and implement work efforts within the Workday HCM Talent Management Suite, focusing on Recruitment, Applicant Tracking, Onboarding/Offboarding, and Organizational Charts.
- Build forms and manage configurations related to onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Collaborate with HR business owners, functional analysts, developers, and security analysts to evaluate and prioritize requests within Workday.
- Translate business requirements into effective Workday HCM solutions.
- Provide ongoing testing and deployment support for Workday configurations.
- Communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are met and processes are efficiently implemented.
- Assist in the configuration and maintenance of Workday modules, ensuring alignment with HR business goals and organizational needs.
Should Have:
- Familiarity with state organizational management and culture, particularly how organizational roles interact with user roles.
- Public sector experience with HR practices and compliance regulations is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong HCM knowledge and experience with HR practices and industry best practices.
- Expertise in Workday HCM solutions, configuration, and integrations.
- Experience with solution design and data mapping.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and facilitation skills to lead discussions and collaborate with teams.
Qualification or Education:
- Bachelors degree in business administration, human resources, computer science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Workday HCM Talent Management or similar roles.
- Public sector experience is an added bonus.
