Overview :

This is a part-time on-site role for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic at Align Machine Company. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for equipment maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and vehicle maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of heavy machinery in industries like construction, agriculture, and mining. This is a field and shop role, you will be driving a F550 service truck.

Skills/Needs:

• Equipment Maintenance, Equipment Repair, and component rebuild skills
• Experience with Heavy Equipment and troubleshooting (Electrical, Hydraulic, Engines, Mechanical, Powertrains)
• Ability to work independently and solve technical issues efficiently in the field and shop
• Experience with Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, John Deere, JLG, Bobcat, Takeuchi, Case and others
• Hydraulic cylinder and hydraulic hose repair is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude is a must
• Documenting service and repairs in a CMMS is a must
• Certification or training in heavy equipment mechanics is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (We build relationships)
• Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy equipment components (50lbs), climb ladders, bend, stoop, lay, stand and all other body requirements consistent with heavy and industrial machine repair.
• Must have valid drivers license and pass a DOT physical
