Job Description
Successful candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years of experience servicing, repairing and installing commercial heating, ventilation & air conditioning; refrigeration systems; and heat pump systems. Will possess a Maine State Gas license with appliance service and installation endorsement preferred, large equipment endorsement would be a plus. CFC certification is required.
Journeyman Oil 1 & 2 under 15 GPH license not required but valued. Over 15 GPH a plus.
Knowledge of electrical controls required. Must have excellent communication and customer relations skills. Candidate must possess a valid driver's license.

Safe work practices, efficiency, and meeting target goals are of prime importance. Professional & interpersonal skills are required to properly represent Mechanical Services, Inc. to customers, vendors, and other contractors in an ethical and professional manner. Must be able to work independently or as part of a team and communicate effectively.
Must possess a valid Maine driver's license. Some state-wide travel may be expected with some overnight stays but very infrequently. The ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment, within a diverse team is very important.
Must be able to read, write and understand technical specifications, manufacturer's documentation, engineering sequences, and building plans. Must be able to communicate effectively with engineers, customers, end-users, and all building trades. Must be able to safely access construction sites, mechanical rooms, rooftops, and other areas where equipment might be.
Other duties as assigned. Wage commensurate with experience and certification.
