Position: AI Systems Architect 3
Location: Remote (Some travel may be required)
Duration: 3-month contract
MUST HAVES:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of experience, a Master's degree with 10 years, or a PhD with 8 years.
- Authorized to work in the US.
- Experience with implementation, testing, and operation of fault-tolerant systems, avionics, and software/hardware integration of spacecraft.
- Working knowledge of STOL.
- Knowledge of spacecraft subsystem design, testing, flight software best practices, and mission operations.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of experience, a Master's with 10 years, or a PhD with 8 years.
- Experience with fault-tolerant systems, avionics, and spacecraft integration.
- Proficiency in one of the following languages: STOL.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of spacecraft subsystem design, testing, and flight software practices.
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate complex concepts.
- Experience preparing technical documents such as design notes and test reports.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with command and telemetry databases.
Responsibilities:
- Perform systems engineering functions, including verification/validation planning and system-level testing related to fault management and autonomy.
- Develop and execute test scripts in STOL to verify fault management and autonomy flight software using simulations and hardware.
- Debug tests, including software, fault management, ground software, and simulation issues.
