Job Title: Summer Intern, IT Department
Location : Fully on-site in Glen Allen, VA 23060 (no remote option)
Duration : 10-week paid summer internship (June-August)
As an IT Intern at Richmond National, you'll gain hands-on experience in IT operations and software development. You'll work closely with our in-house development team, contributing to real projects that drive our tech-forward approach to delivering insurance solutions.
Responsibilities: - Assist in the development and maintenance of in-house software solutions.
- Support IT operations, including troubleshooting, system updates, and network management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on tech-driven insurance initiatives.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the improvement of processes and systems.
Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, SQL).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Interest in the intersection of technology and insurance.
