Estimator Trainee for Steel Fabrication

This is an office-based early career-beginner position. Must have  STRONG math skills  and experience reading blueprints.

Requirements:

• Highly proficient math skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Eager to learn.
• Good computer skills.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to read blueprints for custom projects
• Create accurate bids for customers
• Ability to communicate and gather labor, time, and material requirements.
• Train and report directly to the Chief Estimator
• Gather project proposals and necessary documentation
