We have an immediate need for 2 Junior Java Developers with our government client in Albany, NY. These are contract roles that are onsite in Albany. There will be a 2-4 week probationary period so we are looking for local college graduates with a degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.

Role Title - Junior Java Developer
Location: Onsite in Albany, NY - client prefers someone local to Albany as there is a probationary period (or close enough to Albany to temporarily relocate there)
Duration: 1 year contract with possible extension

Required Skills:
We are seeking dedicated individuals to support the Maintenance and Operations at the client site.
The ideal candidates will have a technical background, including knowledge of SQL, JAVA, Web Services and excellent analytical skills.
Previous experience with Medicaid, whether as a user, system analyst, developer, or tester, is a plus. We are looking for individuals eager to learn and willing to invest the time and effort needed to fully understand the system.
Key responsibilities include: collaborating with users to identify and recreate issues, troubleshooting and determining root causes, and working closely with the technology team to ensure a holistic approach to system maintenance.
Strong documentation, consulting, and communication skills are essential for success in this role
