Position Overview: As the Lead Robotics Engineer, you'll be responsible for leading our robotics engineering efforts and driving innovation in robotic systems. You'll lead a team of talented engineers in designing, developing, and deploying advanced robotic solutions across various domains. Requirements

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of robotics engineers, setting technical direction, defining best practices, and driving innovation in robotics technologies.
  2. System Design: Design and architect robotic systems, defining requirements, subsystems, and interfaces to meet project objectives.
  3. Hardware Development: Develop and integrate robotic hardware components, including sensors, actuators, and control systems, ensuring compatibility and performance.
  4. Software Development: Develop software for controlling and operating robotic systems, implementing algorithms for perception, planning, and control.
  5. Autonomy: Develop autonomous capabilities for robotic systems, including perception, navigation, and decision-making algorithms.
  6. Integration and Testing: Integrate hardware and software components into complete robotic systems, conducting testing and validation to ensure functionality and performance.
  7. Safety and Compliance: Ensure robotic systems comply with safety standards and regulations, implementing safety features and protocols to mitigate risks.
  8. Documentation: Create technical documentation, including design specifications, system manuals, and test reports, to support development and deployment activities.
  9. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and software developers, to deliver end-to-end robotic solutions that meet customer requirements.
  10. Research and Innovation: Stay informed about the latest advancements in robotics research and technology, exploring innovative approaches and techniques to enhance robotic solutions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in robotics engineering, with a proven track record of developing and deploying robotic solutions.
  • Leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or MATLAB, and experience with robotics frameworks and libraries.
  • Strong understanding of robotic hardware components and subsystems, including sensors, actuators, and control systems.
  • Experience with robotic perception, navigation, and manipulation algorithms, such as SLAM, path planning, and motion control.
  • Familiarity with robotic simulation tools and platforms, such as ROS (Robot Operating System) and Gazebo.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking, with a passion for tackling complex robotics challenges.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
