Job Description

Litigation firm has immediate need for an experienced Legal Assistant to provide support to a team of attorneys. Duties include organizing case files, transcribing dictations, monitoring calendar, assisting in the preparation of pleadings, and providing clerical support. Please note: This is NOT a remote position.

Prior legal experience preferred; in addition to the following skills:

• Able to prioritize and multi-task;
• Excellent communication skills, including telephone skills, spelling, grammar and letter writing;
• Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions;
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office;
• Project management skills and ability to meet deadlines;
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality;
• Detail oriented with own work as well as in reviewing/proofreading work of others
