Job Description

Lifeguard:

• Must be stationed in the lifeguard chair and supervise the safety and rescue of swimming participants.
• Set up required equipment for class activity and put away at the end of the day;
• Supervise locker rooms and hallways before and after class;
• Assist in record keeping where necessary;
• Assist in intramural activities with a qualified teacher;
• Supervises, as needed, athletic teams until the coach arrives to assume his/her responsibilities;
• Performs related work as assigned.

$16.08-$25.91 Must pass fingerprint clearance from the New York State Education Department/Office of School Review and Accountability and/or New York State Division of Criminal Justice/Federal Bureau of Investigation.
