Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Locksmith to install, maintain, repair, and adjust various types of locks, security systems, and related hardware. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience working with residential, commercial, or automotive locking systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain locks, keys, deadbolts, and security hardware (e.g., panic bars, electronic access systems, safes).
Re-key locks and cut keys accurately using key-cutting machines.
Open locks and safes using appropriate tools and techniques when keys are lost or unavailable.
Inspect locking mechanisms and security systems to identify issues and perform preventative maintenance.
Respond to emergency lockout situations in a timely manner.
Key fits
Preferred Experience:
Experience as a locksmith or similar role.
Knowledge of mechanical and electronic locking systems.
Familiarity with tools of the trade, including key machines, drills, lock picks, etc.
Required Qualifications:
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Valid driver’s license.
Background check required.
