Position Summary The Loss Mitigation Coordinator plays an important role in the organization by performing a number of administrative tasks directly related to the company's Loss Mitigation functions.The role is primarily responsible, under close to general supervision, for mail, invoices, imaging, and general letter drafting.The Loss Mitigation Coordinator supports the more experienced staff in various duties.
Essential Functions - Update Guild and Investor systems with status updates, including I5, SmartSheets, Valeri, SFMDS, SIP, HudDart, SMDU and Resolve.
- Order funds, pay invoices and send out checks.
- Image documents in Guild systems, including Blitz & AIQ
- Assist with claims and workout closings if / when necessary.
- Prepare reinstatements and working with Foreclosure/ Escrow departments to gather necessary information.
- Review any returned mail and properly documenting the system.
- Review Title Reports
- Prepare denials, drafting agreements and general notices.
- Work on general loss mitigation reports for oversight and escalation when needed.
- Coordinate document execution efforts, including notary, DocuSign.
- Prepare wires and additional account payable tasks.
- Assist in the creating and review of job aids as needed
- Any tasks associated with mailing, including custodian mail, FedEx, final workout documents and assisting with mass letter production.
- Guild Inbox functions:
- Working the loss mitigation inbox
- Open and assign loss mitigation workout packages, verbal attestations
- Send out regulatory and investor-required automated/mass-production letters
- Manage the Guild Portal
- VA AOS portal
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications - High school diploma, or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of one year experience providing general administrative support in a back office financial services environment, preferably in mortgage loan processing
- Highly organized and detail oriented; ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment required
- Proficient with data entry, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Supervision - Close to general supervision of work, depending on experience
- Low level of independent judgment and discretion used in decision-making, escalates more complex issues for advice and resolution

Requirements Physical: Work is primarily sedentary; occasionally walks and/or stands.
Manual Dexterity:Frequent use of computer keyboard and mouse.
Audio/Visual:Ability to accurately interpret sounds and associated meanings at a volume consistent with interpersonal conversation. Regularly required to accurately perceive, distinguish and interpret information received visually and through audio, e.g., words, numbers and other data broadcasted aloud/viewed on a screen, as well as print and other media.
Environmental:Office environment - no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions.

Targeted Salary Range: $16.30/hr - $20.87/hr
