Our customers depend on us to convert their ideas into one of the most important inventions man ever made, a book of printed words.JOB SUMMARY:Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance programs.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:High school Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.Must be able to wire equipment and plant according to the NEC.Able to operate all hand and machines tools, including welders.Able to read and interpret drawings, sketches, OEM instructions and specifications.Able to troubleshoot and make repairs to complex equipment.Ability to read and comprehend instructions.Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, workplace, and safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Basic math skills, add subtract, and ability to use a measuring device.Basic problem-solving skills.DESIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to be trained for forklift and scissor lift PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently, 20lbs constantlyOccasionally be able to do the listed activitiesMoving to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another,Communicating with others to exchange information,Operating machine and/or power toolsWork in noisy environmentsAscending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the likeMoving self in different position to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight spacesRemain in stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periodsRepeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingersAssessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assignedWork in high and low temperaturesSCHEDULE IS MONDAY TO FRIDAY, 1St SHIFT-7AM-3PMOvertime pays time and a half after 40 hours per weekWHY WORK FOR SHERIDAN?Job trainingCareer advancementCollege tuition up to $5,250 per yearPaid vacation & holidaysCompetitive compensationMedical (PPO and HSA Plans), Dental, VisionTeledoc - convenient and no costCompany paid basic life and AD&D insuranceVoluntary life401(k) with company matchCompany paid short term disabilityFSA Health and Dependent Care savings accountsHSA Health saving accountEAP programCJK Group is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
