Maintenance Electrician

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Electrician to ensure the efficient operation of all property and production assets. This vital role focuses on the care and maintenance of machinery and equipment, encompassing electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. The position requires managing both planned and unplanned maintenance tasks for production, packaging, processing equipment, and utility systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Complete both planned and unplanned maintenance requirements.
• Work with PLC troubleshooting and three-phase electrical systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Perform conduit bending and wiring tasks.
• Ensure all equipment is running smoothly and efficiently.

Essential Skills

• Experience with 240 and 480 volt industrial systems.
• Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and repair.
• Strong skills in pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with PLCs, specifically Allen Bradley.
• Ability to read and work from blueprints and schematics.
• Experience in industrial electrical maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with photo eye technology.
• Knowledge of ladder logic.
• Ability to work with computer-controlled equipment, PLCs, and HVAC systems.
• Experience in lubricating, cleaning, and material handling.
• Understanding of motor control, relay control, and process control.

The position requires working in a cold, wet environment as part of a team producing ice cream for various clients. This role involves handling diverse flavors and ensuring high-quality production standards are maintained.
