Job Title: Maintenance Electrician- $35-42/hr

Job Description

The Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for conducting routine and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. The role involves diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, as well as assisting in the installation of new machinery. The electrician will maintain accurate records and collaborate with production and engineering teams to enhance equipment efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to prevent machinery breakdowns.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime.
• Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery, ensuring safety compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Navigate, maintain, and improve Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) processes.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve equipment-related issues.
• Conduct work according to lean manufacturing principles.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, including 480v systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting, including reading inputs/outputs.
• Knowledge of 3 phase motors, AC/DC motors, control systems, and VFDs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Greenfield, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $87360.00/yr.
