Job Description
This position is responsible for the management of supplies required for fresh packing blueberries and blackberries for all MBG locations in all regions.

, KCM Associates, Naturipe Farms staff, Operations team, Warehouse team, and accounting department.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities - Direct inventory control, management, and accountability for all materials and supplies.
- Monitor and maintain purchase orders and delivery schedules to ensure on-time and accurate deliveries; coordinate all supply distribution and logistics.
- Source and maintain a freight vendor pool to provide lowest freight cost for movement of supplies throughout our MBG distribution centers.
- Assist with overseeing the Procurement Assistant's schedule and workload.
- Manage shipment receipts and verify all sales/transfers for accuracy throughout MBG warehouses.
- Direct and maintain inventory programs and procedures.
- Direct and coordinate outside clamshell labeling services and deliveries to warehouses.
- Direct and coordinate shipments to growers and MBG warehouses.
- Assist with design and development of new packaging as well as monitor current packaging to ensure all required specifications are being met.
- Assist the Sr. Manager of Procurement and Supplies.
- Monitor quality assurance and compliance with required FDA and Food Safety regulations.
- Actively build business relationships with appropriate suppliers and vendors to become more knowledgeable of the industries they represent.
- Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills Required - Bachelor's degree and five years' experience or equivalent work experience in packaging, purchasing, inventory management, logistics, and accounting.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications. Experience with an enterprise resource planning tool and warehouse management system preferred.
- Required to work as a team player and in a professional and confidential manner.
- Outstanding prioritization and time management is essential; attention to detail is required.
- A proven ability to work with a variety of people and handle stressful situations calmly is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- Must be available on weekends during harvest and prepared for a 40+ hours of work (as the business need requires).
- Fluent in Spanish, preferred but not required.
- Ability to commute/relocate to Grand Junction, MI 49056: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required).
