As a Master Maintenance Technician, you will conduct repetitive, predictive, condition based, reactive maintenance and troubleshooting of cGMP production equipment, clean utilities and plant utility systems. Assist with engineering and evaluation of existing and new equipment and processes. Responsibilities include:
\n - Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs, perform inspections, and document system parameters; make adjustments within GMP guidelines and notify supervisors of issues.
\n - Lead and organize maintenance projects, provide technical expertise, and assist with part procurement; provide training to junior staff.
\n - Perform general labor and provide data for performance metrics reporting; ensure cleanliness and organization of work areas.
\n - Complete and revise GMP and SOP documentation; interact with various departments and ensure compliance with safety and environmental guidelines.
\n - Employees needing warehouse access must pass TSA Security Threat Assessment and contribute to a positive safety culture by reporting incidents promptly.

Who you are: Minimum Qualifications: - You have a High School Diploma with 9 years of general maintenance experience and a minimum 5 years in a cGMP environment.
\n
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: \n - Good communication skills, both written and oral.
\n - Prompt, consistent and orderly work habits.
\n - Ability to read and interpret P&ID drawings
\n - Overall knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, refrigeration, steam, electrical systems, controls, and maintenance methods. Specializing in at least two.
\n - Extensive troubleshooting skills on various equipment and systems.
\n - Ability to work independently on complex and controversial issues.
\n - Ability to interact well with others in a team environment.
\n - Strong organizational skills and time management skills.
\n - Ability to learn and use Microsoft based platforms and/or company Intranet and e-mail.
\n - Ability to use computer software applications (MS Word/Excel).
\n - Ability to use Building Management Control System (BMCS) and Manufacturing Control System (MCS)
\n - Available to work overtime when necessary and work varying shifts, including an On-Call program. General knowledge of shop tool operation and safety.

Physical conditions and PPE requirements: \n - Schedule may include a non-rotating 4-day (10 hour shift), one weekend day, evening or night hours, or full off-shift hours.
\n - Expected to be on feet for 8 to 10 hours a day.
\n - Climb upwards of 6 flights of stairs a day to maneuver within the manufacturing facility.
\n - Climb heights up to 30 feet by ladder.
\n - Lift up to 40lbs may be required.
\n - Environment requires that gowning in the form of hospital scrubs, bunny suits, gloves and steel toe boots be worn. Also, no make-up or jewelry can be worn when working in the clean room environment.
\n - Work in clean room environment with large mechanical equipment, piping, and pumps connecting to tanks serviced by high-pressure steam, water and air together this creates a loud environment.
\n - Work with electrical systems 480VAC and below
\n - Work with hazardous materials and chemicals.
\n - Work on pressurized gasses and liquids
\n - Work on cryogenic systems
\n - Work on steam systems
\n - Wear air purifying respirator and wear necessary hearing protection.
\n - Crawl, kneel and stoop and work in small work spaces.

Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting.
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location for this position of Oceanside, CA is $73,500- $105,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, level, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
