Job Description

Busy Podiatrist office looking for a full-time Medical Assistant.

Looking for a positive, energetic, empathetic with patients, have a positive attitude, and develop a trusting relationship with patients and staff.

Must be organized, have the ability to follow through and complete work assignments independently, be responsible and pay attention to details. Must be able to perform phlebotomy, give injections and do other Back Office responsibilities like cleaning exam rooms in between appointments, sterilizing medical instruments, handling patient problems/ concerns with care and professionalism. Have familiarity with an EMR system, Microsoft Word and Excel.

Candidate must be mature and professional and be able to multi-task in fast paced environment, while maintaining a good attitude and a teamwork approach.

Punctuality and reliability are ESSENTIAL, must also be highly motivated and organized. Able to work alone and be self directed. Must have car and be willing to travel to other offices.

Current X-ray license or limited x-ray for podiatry preferred.

Two to five (2-5) years experience preferred. Spanish speaking is a plus.
