Description ALTIVIA is looking for an experienced Millwright. This position will be responsible for the following:
Job Responsibilities - Compressor's, turbines, mixers, clarifier knowledge is a must.
- Knowledge of Steam turbines, air end on compressors, multistage pumps.
- Use precision measurement tools (micrometers, dial indicators, caliper, and feeler gage)
- Perform shaft alignment utilizing reverse indication and laser alignment.
- Basic understanding of lubrication best practices and perform lubrication routes.
- Work in a self-directed and team environment
- Work in a confined space
- Install component type mechanical seals in pumps and agitators.
- Perform housekeeping responsibilities without direction.
- Repair/rebuild pumps (Standard Centrifugal, Diaphragm, Mag drive Centrifugal and Gear pumps)
- Read and understand Mechanical equipment drawings.
- Rebuild positive displacement pumps (gear and diaphragm).
- Rebuild centrifugal pumps.
- Read and understand maintenance procedures and equipment manuals.
- Perform piping installation and repairs.
- Must be able to work overtime, callouts and rotating days or shifts as required.
