Job Overview The Pediatric Nephrology Division has a multi-decade tradition of excellence and a robust ambulatory practice, being the major referral site for Western Pennsylvania, Northeastern Ohio, and northern West Virginia. The staff includes 7 physicians and 1 advanced practice providers. The Pediatric Nephrology Division has a busy inpatient and consult service and a vibrant Fellowship program (currently with 2 Fellows per year). The Division operates in many locations across Western Pennsylvania and is poised for strong growth to provide all children with the best care. Both the Division of Nephrology and UPMC Children u2019s Hospital of Pittsburgh have been consistently ranked in the Top 10 or Honor Roll on U.S. News & World Report u2019s list of u201cAmerican u2019s Best Children u2019s Hospitals u201d for many years. Position Highlights Qualifications - The Division of Pediatric Nephrology at the UPMC Children u2019s Hospital of Pittsburgh and the Department of Pediatrics, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine is recruiting a Full Time Academic Clinician Physician. This position will be primarily located in the Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and will be filled by a critical team member to further grow, build, and develop our existing practice. Our vision is to build a team of clinicians to serve the region. They will be supported by nurses and various support staff. The candidate must have completed a Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship and be Board Certified/Eligible in Pediatric Nephrology.
