Occupational Health Nurse needed for a part-time contract opportunity with Yoh’s client located in Sunnyvale, CA!

Top Skills You Should Possess:

• Experience in Occupational Health and/or Employee Health

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Respond to emergencies and administer first aid to employees for job-related illnesses and injuries
• Assist with OSHA and job/site/contract required surveillance program services (i.e. hearing conservation, respiratory protection, visual acuity, bloodborne pathogens, biological monitoring, etc.) to identified employee populations in collaboration with Environmental Health and Safety. Note: most of these services are performed offsite by an outside clinic, but the nurse will be responsible for scheduling, obtaining and reviewing all results from the clinic.
• Maintain accurate recordkeeping in electronic medical records system in compliance with OSHA requirements
• Dispense OTC medications
• Schedule: Thursdays and Fridays, 6am – 3pm

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Active and unrestricted California RN license
• Associates Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
• Five (5) years of nursing experience
• Previous experience in Occupational or Employee Health preferred
• Previous experience in urgent care, community health, adult ambulatory care, critical care or emergency nursing a plus
• Experience with pre-employment testing, immunization administration, audiometry and spirometry testing
• Certifications in audiometry and spirometry highly preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
