Job specification - Assess, monitor, and provide care to patients in the Outpatient Rapid Observation Center, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Conduct initial evaluations, document patient history, and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as per provider orders.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to any changes in condition promptly.
- Educate patients and families on care plans, treatment expectations, and follow-up procedures.
- Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to facilitate effective care transitions and discharge planning.
- Ensure accurate and complete documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Candidate requirements - Current RN license in Maryland.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in an acute care or outpatient observation setting.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities efficiently.
