Pain Management Physician

Opportunity:

• Full-time, hospital-employed position within a reputable and expanding health system
• Collaborative, team-based environment with physical medicine & rehabilitation specialists, surgeons, and advanced practice providers
• Comprehensive approach to pain including interventional procedures, medical management, physical therapy coordination, alternative therapies including addiction medicine, and patient education
• Established referral network and robust patient volume from day one
• We are growing our comprehensive pain services into surrounding outreach communities to reduce travel burdens and bring advanced, multidisciplinary pain care closer to where patients live.

Greenwood is a picturesque town situated in the foothills of South Carolina and on the shores of Lake Greenwood. It is a three-hour drive to Charleston’s beautiful beaches, two hours to the Appalachian Mountains, and equivalent distances to both Atlanta and Charlotte. It is called both “the Emerald City” and “the Lakelands” due to its desirable climate and the numerous lakes in close proximity. It offers year-round golf, seasonal watersports and excellent hunting and fishing opportunities.

It provides care to the residents of Greenwood, Abbeville, Laurens, Saluda, McCormick, Edgefield and Newberry Counties. Self Medical Group is the large medical practice division of Self Regional Healthcare that employs 60 primary care physicians and 53 specialists in addition to 44 hospital-based physicians.
