Description:

For a limited-term, starting as soon as possible and to expire June 30, 2025, Denver Language School is seeking to appoint a Project Manager with a strong professional background auditing and evaluating the effectiveness of school site based operational systems.

As a 0.40 - 0.62 full time employee, the appointee will work scheduled in-person hours primarily at the Gilpin Campus; however, a flexibility and willingness to work in-person at the Whiteman Campus is a prerequisite for this role.

Reporting directly to the Director of HR and the Executive Director, the appointee shall be expected to

• Have a demonstrated record of timeliness, attention to detail, and the ability and capacity to meet professional expectations;
• Have a communicable experience and enthusiasm for curating a culture of service through school-based operations;
• Have a strong systemic approach to task management;
• Have the ability to collaborate with colleagues and share skills and competencies based upon accrued experience;
• Be willing to communicate effectively with colleagues at a building level, while ensuring that timely and effective feedback is provided to the senior leadership team of Denver Language School.

Regular tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Observing and reporting on arrival, lunch, exit processes and other procedures at Gilpin and/or Whiteman Campuses;
• Observing and reporting upon the current usage of data-management systems by DLS employees;
• Providing counsel and direction to senior leaders about strategic areas of growth and development for operational processes;
• Providing counsel and direction to senior seniors about areas of inefficiency, poor practice, and opportunities for improvement.
• Development of processes and procedures that can be used in the near future and modified, if appropriate, to meet long-term goals

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Served as Office Manager, Operations Leader, or equivalent at a public/charter school for 2 or more years;
• Possess knowledge and confidence in using platforms such as Infinite Campus, Schoology and Google for Education;
• Must be perceptive, analytical, and strategic;
• Should be able to discern short, medium, and long-term opportunities for school system improvement in service of our educators, students and families.
