Castle Pines Golf Club is a nationally ranked private golf club located in Castle Rock, Colorado. Position Responsibilities: Prepare a wide variety of goods from scratch such as breads, cookies, cakes, pies, ice creams, and chocolates following traditional and modern recipes. Prepare goods for a wide variety of presentations including plated desserts, buffets, and private caterings. Complete daily prep lists and organize daily tasks to adhere to timetables in which certain items must be baked daily and ready for service. Decorate pastries using a variety of icings and toppings to ensure beautifully finished products. Ability to visually inspect ingredients and completed recipes to ensure only the highest quality products are used. Daily checks of frozen/fresh par items and ingredients. Work in a clean and safe manner adhering to all Food Handlers guidelines. Participate in daily/weekly/monthly cleaning tasks including, but not limited to, dish washing, wiping down and sanitizing work surfaces, cleaning stock shelves, fridges, freezers and deep cleaning. Work within a strong team dynamic to create and execute new and exciting desserts for menus that change monthly. Assist in other areas of the kitchen when needs of the business arise. Flexible scheduling availability to work early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work as part of a team or individually. Strong time management skills and self-motivation to complete tasks in a timely manner. Ability to stand on your feet for 75% of the time and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Basic knowledge of ingredients, piping and writing with icings and chocolate. Ability to do basic math quickly and accurately.
