Patent Attorney Patent Attorney

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Patent Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights. The primary objective of this role is to provide legal advice and representation regarding patent applications, IP strategy, and infringement matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and file patent applications
• Conduct patentability and freedom-to-operate opinions
• Advise clients on IP strategy and portfolio management
• Represent clients in patent prosecution before the USPTO
• Assist with trademark and copyright registration processes
• Conduct IP due diligence in transactions
• Litigate patent disputes and enforce clients' IP rights
• Stay updated on changes in IP law and patent regulations

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to practice law in at least one state
• Registered patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)
• Strong understanding of patent law and intellectual property principles
• Experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
