Description We are looking to hire a full-time groomer/pet stylist for our busy general practice. The is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced groomer to join our team!
Ideal Candidate: - Excellent animal handling and professional customer service skills
- Strong knowledge of grooming techniques for all breeds of dogs and cats
- Ability to perform grooming services, including clipping, medicated and general cleansing, parasite control baths, pedicures, medicated dips and ear cleansing, as requested for each pet
- Ability to groom several dogs per day in a busy practice environment
- Maintain a proper grooming room, including but not limited to: cleaning cages, tubs and grooming tables; vacuuming and mopping the floor; cleaning clipper blades, scissors and brushes after use
- Recommend retail products that would aid in home grooming care of pets
Skill, Knowledge, & Expertise - 2 years of prior grooming experience
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service
- Must be familiar with standard cuts for all breeds
- Must be reliable, a team player with a positive attitude and must have a great work ethic
- Must maintain a clean and healthy environment for clients
