Job Description The responsibilities will include duties related to operations, completions, non-operating operations, budget planning, and business development necessary for the Operations department to be successful. This position is located near Galleria, Houston, Texas. Level and salary commensurate with experience. Essential Job Functions Prepare procedures and AFEs for performing stimulation on new wells, re-stimulation on producing wells, clean outs, flow back, and workovers. Track projects and perform post audit with emphasis on learning best practices. Provide supervision and quality control on completions, coil tubing operations and workovers. Daily coordination with field personnel. Prepare inventory requirements for long lead items and issue bids for services, purchase orders, material transfers, to optimize spending and budget considerations. Interface with vendors and service providers to ensure equipment and services are provided in a timely manner. Develop a strategy to optimize cost by drilling, completing, and producing multiple wells from a single location. Completions: Work closely with the field and corporate teams to ensure safe and efficient operations. Investigate alternate fracture stimulation applications. Work with Reservoir and Geology to identify key components for improving stimulation treatments to achieve the right balance of cost and performance. Interact with government regulatory officials to ensure proper approvals and permits. Evaluate stimulation companies and work to develop best-in-class vendors. Non-Operated Operations: Review drilling and workover communications from Operators and notify management team when unusual events occur on operations for partner projects. Budget Planning: Coordinate and track budgets for operated projects. Incorporate the technical aspects of development plans including identification of potential constraints on implementation and the impact on budget. Track actual spending to ensure that projects meet budget objectives. Business Development: Assist in acquisitions by working closely with geology, land, and operations to estimate reserves and future cost impacts for the economic model. #J-18808-Ljbffr ZipRecruiter
