Overview:
A ~400-bed acute care hospital located just east of Downtown Los Angeles is seeking a skilled Inpatient Night Shift Pharmacist. This role is available for either temp-to-hire or direct permanent placement, offering stability and long-term growth for the right candidate.
Setting:
Inpatient hospital pharmacy, supporting a full range of clinical services.
Responsibilities include:
Verifying medication orders
Supervising pharmacy technicians
Consulting with physicians and nursing staff
Providing pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
Utilizing Allscripts for order entry and clinical documentation
Ideal Candidate:
Active California Pharmacist License
PharmD earned in the United States
Minimum 5 years of inpatient hospital experience, or PGY1 residency plus 3 years of experience
Residency-trained candidates strongly preferred by the Director of Pharmacy
Familiarity with Allscripts is a plus
Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently during night shifts
