Job Title: Phlebotomist I Location: Fort Myers, FL 33908 Duration: 5 months with the possibility of an extension Shift: Tuesday to Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm and every Saturday from 6:00 am - 10:00 am Job Description: The Phlebotomist I serves as the first point of contact for patients at the Patient Service Center. This role requires exceptional customer service skills to assist patients with checking in, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a smooth workflow. Responsibilities: Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily tasks accurately and on time. Maintain a safe and professional environment. Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties with confidence, following established practices and procedures. Maintain required records and documentation accurately. Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public. Provide a high level of customer service to patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding of the process. Ensure all blood samples are collected in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner. Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. 1+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience required. Customer service experience in a healthcare or retail setting. Additional Job Details: Reliable transportation is mandatory (bus, Uber, or rideshare is not acceptable). Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Flexibility for weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime as needed. Must demonstrate punctuality and consistent attendance. Candidates must reside within a 20-25-minute commute of the worksite to ensure reliable and timely travel. Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for success in this role.
