About the Role:

The Physician Marketing Liaison serves as a critical bridge between healthcare providers and the marketing team within the health care and social assistance industry. This role focuses on fostering strong relationships with physicians and medical professionals to promote physical therapy services effectively. The liaison will develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives that align with clinical practices and patient care goals. By understanding both the clinical and marketing perspectives, the liaison ensures that communication is clear, accurate, and compelling to drive patient referrals and service utilization. Ultimately, this position aims to enhance the visibility and reputation of physical therapy services while supporting physicians in delivering optimal patient outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of physical therapy techniques and clinical applications.
  • Experience working within the healthcare industry, preferably in a liaison or marketing capacity.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with medical professionals.
  • Ability to travel within the United States to meet with healthcare providers as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree or certification in Healthcare Marketing.
  • Previous experience in physician liaison roles or healthcare sales.
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance, regulations, and patient privacy laws.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Experience organizing and leading professional healthcare events or workshops.
Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare providers to facilitate collaboration and referral opportunities.
  • Develop targeted marketing strategies and materials that accurately represent physical therapy techniques and benefits to medical professionals and patients.
  • Coordinate and participate in educational events, seminars, and meetings to promote physical therapy services and share clinical insights.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from physicians and healthcare teams to continuously improve marketing approaches and service offerings.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing, clinical, and administrative teams to ensure alignment of messaging and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Skills:

The required skill of physical therapy techniques is essential for understanding the clinical aspects of the services being marketed, enabling the liaison to communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare teams. This knowledge allows the liaison to translate complex clinical information into clear, persuasive marketing messages that resonate with medical professionals. Preferred skills such as healthcare marketing expertise and familiarity with compliance regulations enhance the ability to design campaigns that are both impactful and ethically sound. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are used daily to build trust and foster collaboration between marketing and clinical stakeholders. Additionally, proficiency with digital marketing tools and CRM systems supports efficient management of outreach efforts and tracking of referral patterns.
