What would you do as a Production Manager
Conestoga Energy Partners LLC is excited to announce an opening for a Production Manager at SAFFiRE Renewables, a trailblazer in environmental sustainability. This role presents an incredible opportunity to lead the production process from biomass to ultra-low carbon renewable ethanol, supporting the ambitious vision of enabling the U.S. aviation industry to reach its SAF targets-3 billion gallons by 2030 and 35 billion gallons by 2050.
As Production Manager, you'll oversee a dedicated team, ensuring safe and regulatory-compliant operations and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures. You will communicate regularly with management to align plant objectives, monitor operational adjustments to meet production goals, and uphold quality control standards. Acting as the main point of contact between the pilot plant and the Host Gen 1 facility, you will also represent ownership during the EPC process, driving innovation in sustainable fuel production.

What you need to be successful
To thrive as the Production Manager at SAFFiRE Renewables, candidates must possess a robust skill set and extensive experience in ethanol plant operations. With 10+ years in the field and 5-10 years specifically in production or plant management, you'll bring invaluable expertise to the role. A strong knowledge of the ethanol production process and technology is essential, along with familiarity with crucial components such as enzymes, yeasts, and other chemicals involved in the production process.
Understanding the distillation process and the intricacies of continuous production will enable you to optimize operations effectively. Additionally, strong leadership and communication skills are vital, as you will oversee a team, ensure regulatory compliance, and align plant objectives with management. Your technical acumen and ability to adapt will be crucial in driving innovative solutions within this dynamic energy landscape.
