Power BI Developer Hybrid Summary of role: The position will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive data visualizations and reports using the Power BI platform. To be successful in this role, the Power BI Developer will collaborate with stakeholders and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into effective and visually appealing dashboards and reports. Your expertise in Power BI and data visualization will play a crucial role in helping our organization make informed decisions based on data-driven insights. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive and visually appealing data visualizations using Power BI tools (Power Query/Power Pivot/DAX etc.).
• Create data models, define relationships, and optimize queries to ensure efficient and accurate data retrieval for reporting purposes.
• Extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Power BI, ensuring data accuracy, quality, and integrity.
• Work closely with business analysts and developers to gather and integrate data from different systems and sources.
• Develop and implement best practices for data visualization, ensuring the dashboards and reports are intuitive, user-friendly, and effectively communicate insights.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Power BI reports and dashboards for enhanced performance and scalability.
• Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, tools, and industry trends to continuously improve and enhance the reporting capabilities.
• Provide training and support to end-users on using Power BI and interpreting reports and dashboards effectively.

Experience Required:

• 5+ years of experience with Power BI development.
• 5+ years of experience with DAX
• Proven experience as a Power BI developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing data visualizations and reports.
• Proficiency in using Power BI tools, including Power BI Desktop, Power Query, Power Pivot, and Power View.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts, data integration, and ETL processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into intuitive and effective data visualizations.
• Experience in data analysis, data manipulation, and data transformation using SQL or other relevant tools.
• Knowledge of database systems, SQL, and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with data visualization best practices and principles
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.

Education: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant work experience can be considered in lieu of a degree. Preferred: - Experience in manufacturing industry preferred. Working Environment:

• Occasional Travel, once a quarter at most
• Occasional evening and weekend work
• On call availability
