We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated nurses (LPNs and RNs) in Pittsburgh's North Oakland (15213) area to join our team for an exciting and unique opportunity!

This contract position offers a wonderful opportunity for nurses who are interested in working in a school-based, family-oriented environment.

Nearly 25% of the students come from out of town and take part in the school’s Residential Program. This program aims to replicate a home-like atmosphere where all students can thrive! Students enjoy dorm rooms, lounges, and an individualized dietary program.

The fun does not stop there! This unique program also features many school functions and club meetings. Students might enjoy a performance by local musicians, participate in horticulture activities in the greenhouse, work on daily living skills in the Student Apartment, play T-ball in the gymnasium or benefit from creative expression with arts and crafts.

Your Role:

If selected, you will join an excellent team of qualified staff who provide the students with compassionate clinical care. Care can include but is not limited to; Med passes, Assistance with ADLs, Trach/Vent, and G-tube care.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff.

Available Shifts:

Sunday-Thursday : 3p-11p

Sunday-Thursday : 11p-7a

Required Documents/Clearances

• Updated Resume
• Nursing License (Must be active)
• FBI Fingerprints (Results must be from within the past year)
• Child Abuse (Results must be from within the past year)
• BLS CPR Certification (Must be Hands-on and Current)
• Proof of Residency
