Description:

The Production Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining production machinery across various departments. This role follows established procedures and safety guidelines to ensure efficient and accurate production.

• Set up and operate automatic or semi-automatic machines according to specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and computer-controlled equipment to assemble components.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately and on time.
• Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to ensure they meet product specifications and quality standards.
• Repair or refit parts or units that do not meet tolerance levels.
• Maintain accurate daily production and assembly records.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Experience with production machinery or mechanical assembly preferred.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions and specifications, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Physical Demands of On the Job Time

• Standing & Walking – approximately 2/3.
• Weight lifted/Force exerted – approximately 10-50 pounds, 1/3 to 2/3 of time, non-continuously.
• Use of hands to finger, handle or feel – approximately greater than 2/3.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 3:30 pm to Midnight

Compensation details: 20-25 Hourly Wage
