Project Manager – Industrial

Our Company:
Knight Electric Inc. is a nationwide company offering a wide range of commercial lighting and electrical services. We are committed to delivering superior workmanship and client satisfaction.

About this role:
Our Industrial division provides generator installation, emergency backup installation and other alternative energy solutions such as solar and battery backup. This role will include managing projects against a budget while leading team members towards aggressive goals. Hybrid role spent between office, field & working from home.

Location and Travel:

• Cumming, GA 
  • (Hybrid between office, field and work from home)
• Travel: This role will travel up to 50% of the time.

Compensation and Benefits:

• $90,000 - $125,000 yearly plus bonus potential
• Fuel card
• Vehicle allowance or a company vehicle to be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing projects and teams
• Customer communication (timely & consistent updates)
• Schedule management
• Project set up
• Quality oversite on projects
• Daily communication with crews
• Logistic planning and coordination
• Part Time travel - building relationships with team members

Position Requirements:

• 4+ years of work experience in the electrical field
• Experience working in Industrial (generator installation, microgrid, back-up and other alternative energy solutions)
• Experience managing projects and teams
• Excellent communication skills with customers, vendors, subcontractors, general contractors, and owners
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness
• Thorough knowledge of the commercial electrical field and familiarity with materials and construction methods
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Programs (i.e., Excel, Word) and comfort with spreadsheets and computerized on-screen takeoff programs.
• Knowledgeable of the N.E.C and local code
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize.

Preferred qualifications:

• 4-year college degree
• Electrical license (State issued)
• Experience working with concrete in generator installations
