Our client, an established real estate investment firm, is seeking a Property Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, gaining hands-on experience with a growing portfolio of properties. Hybrid work schedule (4 days in office near Reading, MA).

• Manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of properties, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements , including balance sheets, income statements, and variance reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals .
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting for assigned properties.
• Work with property managers and asset managers to resolve accounting-related inquiries.
• Maintain and update records in Yardi .
• Support the year-end audit process and collaborate with external auditors.

• 2+ years of property accounting experience
• Proficiency in Yardi (required).
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles .
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
