Orion Allied Healthcare is seeking  experienced Psych Registered Nurse(RN)for a travel assignment in Greene, NY. This is a great opportunity to provide critical care in a supportive environment while enjoying the lifestyle of New York.

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks (extensions available)
• Shift: Days
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Weekly Pay: $3,001

Responsibilities

• Conducting initial screenings, evaluating mental health needs, and in some cases, diagnosing conditions.
• Developing individualized nursing care plans and working with a team to create comprehensive recovery plans.
• Administering, monitoring, and managing psychiatric medications.
• Providing individual, group, or family therapy and counseling to help patients cope with their conditions.
• Providing immediate support and stabilization during mental health crises.
• Teaching patients and their families about mental health conditions, coping strategies, and self-care activities.
• Coordinating care, managing treatment regimens, and ensuring comprehensive support for patients.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent Psych experience
• Active RN license
• Strong critical care skills and ability to perform in high-acuity settings
