Quality Control Manager Opportunity for top ranked "Best Machine Shop to Work for" in Denver!

Position Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Shifts Available: Weekdays
Pay Range: $75,000 - $90,000/year

Overview:
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and analytical professional who is passionate about ensuring top-tier quality in the production of complex parts for industries like medical, semiconductor, aerospace, and industrial manufacturing. Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance Leadership: Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and protocols. Lead and mentor a team of quality inspectors.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485, AS9100:2016, and ITAR standards.
• Inspection and Testing: Oversee detailed inspections using advanced precision tools; assist with inspections to ensure workflow efficiency.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify improvement opportunities, implement corrective actions, and lead initiatives to enhance processes and prevent defects.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of quality processes, inspection results, and corrective actions. Generate detailed reports for internal and client use.
• Client Collaboration: Work closely with customers to understand and meet their quality requirements, addressing issues promptly.
• Training and Development: Train staff on inspection techniques, protocols, and standards. Ensure cross-training on all equipment and processes within the department.

Hard Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Manager) are a plus.
• Experience: At least 5 years in quality control, with 2+ years in a managerial role within a contract manufacturing environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in precision measuring instruments, quality control software, CNC machining, CAD/CAM software, and GD&T principles.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team. Strong problem-solving skills with a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and with clients.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in identifying defects and ensuring product consistency.
