About the role:

Best Formulations Personal Care continues the legacy of excellence established by Best Formulations, drawing on over 30 years of success in the dietary supplement industry. Our commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction remains unwavering as we venture into the realm of Personal Care.

As Manager of Quality, they lead our Analytical & Microbiology Laboratories. This role ensures compliance with cGMPs, GLPs, and regulatory standards while overseeing daily operations, test validations, and quality system performance. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with deep technical knowledge and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

How will you contribute:

• Oversee Quality Operations, including Quality Inspectors and documentation during production.
• Manage laboratory functions and ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standards.
• Conduct and lead investigations for out-of-specification (OOS) and non-conformance issues.
• Audit lab tests and specifications; approve results and monitor trends.
• Write and review SOPs and Quality Operation Procedures.
• Perform root cause analysis and lead CAPA initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance and subject matter expertise on product and process investigations.
• Analyze trends in quality systems and report findings to senior management.
• Coordinate product and raw material disposition with the QC lab.
• Maintain awareness of industry and government quality standards.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Science, or related field (Microbiology coursework a plus).
• 7+ years in a pharmaceutical, nutritional, or quality lab environment (5+ with advanced degree).
• Strong working knowledge of GMP, CFR, and regulatory compliance.
• Expertise in analytical instrumentation (HPLC, GC, ICP) and chromatography.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and laboratory software systems.

This position is currently classified as on-site at our Huntington Beach Location.

Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $122,000 per year, based on candidate professional experience level. Employees are eligible to participate in Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k), Holidays, Vacation, Tuition Reimbursement Program.

The final salary offered for this position may take into account a number of factors including, but not limited to, location, skills, education, and experience.
