Title: Quality Manager – Food & Beverage Manufacturing

Location: Charleston, South Carolina (potential relocation support if needed)

Working Environment: Full-Time | On-site

Salary: Up to $150,000 DOE + 15% Annual Bonus & Sign-On Incentive

You’re great at food safety.

Not just ticking boxes, but making real improvements.

And you’ve probably had your fair share of banging your head against the wall trying to implement standards no one wants to follow.

We’re working with a food and beverage manufacturer that actually backs its quality team . They’re not just looking for someone to manage processes—they want a Quality Manager who can lead from the front, influence change, and build a team that doesn’t just know the rules but believes in them.

And, it's willing to back the right person financially, with a significantly higher-than-average base of up to $150,000 for the candidate.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Leading a team of FSQ Supervisors, Leads, and Techs who handle everything from micro testing to audits to positive release
• Owning the sanitation program and making sure it runs properly — not just when visitors are coming
• Playing a key role in regulatory readiness: FDA, USDA, SQF
• Working closely with Ops, Engineering, and the VP of Food Safety & Quality to keep the whole site on track
• Managing suppliers, resolving hold events, handling complaints, and making sure records are accurate, real-time, and audit-ready
• Getting stuck into aseptic processing and packaging validations — they take sterility seriously here

There’s a lot of scope for improvement. That’s not code for “chaotic” — just honest. You’ll have room to make things better, and senior backing to make sure you’re not doing it alone.

What you’ll need:

• A degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Engineering , or something similar
• 5+ years in food or beverage QA/Food Safety with team management under your belt
• Real-world knowledge of HACCP, GMP, aseptic processing , and how to manage audits without losing your mind
• The confidence to coach people, challenge things that don’t make sense, and get people bought in
