• The Radiation Therapist administers ionizing radiation treatments to cancer patients under the general supervision of the Radiation Oncologist and Radiation Physicist.
• Demonstrate knowledge of simulation procedure and be willing to rotate on all equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the radiation therapy plan prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. 
• Accurately localize the treatment field and assure reproducibility.
• Schedule new patients for radiation therapy treatments. 

Job Requirements:

• Technical or Associate’s radiography degree 
• Must be registered or registry eligible with the ARRT
  
  • If registry eligible, must become registered within 60 days of hire
• Advanced certification in Radiation Therapy within 60 days of hire 
• Basic Life Support certification 

Preferred Job Requirements:

• One year of Radiation Therapy experience
