PRS Auto is Hiring Immediately in Wayne, MI!

Join our team and start a rewarding career in the rail industry. We are looking for motivated individuals to help prepare railcars for loading new automobiles at the Wayne, MI TDSI/CSX rail terminal. No experience? No problem! We provide on-the-job training and teach you everything you need to succeed.

Position: Full-Time Union Position.

Starting Rate: To be discussed during the interview process.

Location: Wayne, MI.

Schedule: Primarily first shift, but flexibility is required for start and finish times, including weekends and holidays.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare railcars for loading new vehicles.
• Inspect and maintain chocks, doors, decks, grates.
• Clean rails using a backpack blower.
• Identify and repair defects on railcars.
• Work according to PRS Auto processes and AAR standards.

This role involves bending, squatting, leaning, and moving plates to connect railcars. It’s an entry-level position with opportunities for growth and advancement across our nationwide locations.

Requirements

• Live within 45 minutes of Wayne, MI (no relocation).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Pass a 7-year background check and drug test.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs overhead and climb heights.
• No high school diploma or GED required.
