Description: Mary's Tack and Feed was established in 1963 in Del Mar, CA. It has grown to be an equestrian product and pet supply store known throughout the nation, with 40 employees and customers from all over the US. Mary's is an ESOP, which means we are employee owned! We're looking for a receiving associate to come join our team!! We take like to take care of business and have fun doing it! Mary's has an immediate opening for a Receiving associate, working with direct report to the Receiving Supervisor ****MUST HAVE STRONG ATTENTION TO DETAIL***** ***Equestrian experience preferred but not required*** Receiving daily shipments of products Compare receipt of products to purchase orders in system - note discrepancies Assemble (if needed) and correctly tag merchandise for sale in store Directly work with Mary's purchasing department or vendor for discrepancies Cross train shipping but primary focus will be receiving Must be able to learn to use pallet jack, forklift, and other equipment. Assist with RFID inventory scanning and research Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. After 90 days will be eligible for bonus and additional wage depending on performance. Bonus is an additional hour per regular hour worked for the previous month when earned. Must be familiar with use of a computer, experience with MS Office a plus. One year equestrian experience is Preferred. Detail oriented, team player, with strong work habits, goal oriented and well organized. Great staff and wonderful customers. Training provided on company software use for receiving. Forklift, product, and procedure training provided. 40 hours/week.
