Empower Lives on the Move as a Residential Life Coach at Ability Beyond!

Locations: Danbury, Ridgefield, and New Milford, CT
Pay Rate: $19.00 - $19.50/hour
Schedule: Full-Time Day and Evening Shifts Available. One weekend day required!

Your Role as a Residential Life Coach:
As a Residential Life Coach, you'll support adults with disabilities in both residential and community settings. You'll work with a small caseload, helping each individual gain independence, build confidence, and enjoy meaningful daily experiences.

What You'll Do:

• Daily Living Support: Assist with cooking, cleaning, transportation, and appointments
• Skill Development: Help individuals work toward their personalized goals in areas like budgeting, hygiene, meal planning, and communication
• Case Management: Collaborate with clinical teams on symptom management, goal tracking, and creating recreational opportunities
• Community Engagement: Encourage participation in activities like movies, shopping, crafts, fitness, and outings in the community-bring your creativity!
• Promote Independence: Provide hands-on training and coaching in real-life situations to foster self-reliance in integrated settings

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and vehicle a must
• No prior experience needed-we provide training!
• Ideal for someone who's independent, proactive, and passionate about building relationships
