Project Manager – Commercial Roofing (Tampa, FL)

A respected commercial roofing contractor in Tampa, FL is looking for an experienced Project Manager to help drive key projects to successful completion. This role requires more than desk-based coordination—it demands decisive leadership, field experience , and the ability to get hands-on when necessary to keep things moving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of commercial roofing projects from start to finish
• Make practical, on-the-spot decisions without needing constant direction
• Step into the field when needed—willing to support physically in urgent situations
• Coordinate effectively with crews, suppliers, and clients
• Monitor quality, safety, budget, and scheduling
• Write and follow up on reports for quality control and corrective actions
• Ensure smooth workflow without unnecessary reporting interruptions

Ideal Candidate:

• 5+ years of experience as a PM in commercial roofing or construction
• Comfortable being present on site and physically contributing when needed
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Able to think logically and act swiftly—without over-complicating
• Presentable and articulate in meetings and site visits
• Committed to doing the work well, not just reporting on it
