Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers an opportunity to provide essential counseling support to middle school students, helping them navigate academic, social, and emotional challenges during a full semester contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of middle school students, providing individualized counseling services
• Support students in developing coping skills, conflict resolution, and personal growth
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to address student needs and promote a positive school environment
• Assist in crisis intervention and refer students to additional resources as necessary
• Maintain confidential case records and documentation in pliance with school policies

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Relevant counseling certification or licensure
• Experience working with middle school-aged youth in a school or clinical setting
• Strong interpersonal and munication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Understanding of adolescent development and mental health issues

Location:

• West Chester, PA

Work Schedule and Duration:

• Part-time position with approximately 20 hours per week
• Full semester contract
