Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school-based counseling position is available in Norristown, PA, serving a middle school setting. This contract role spans a full semester and involves managing a caseload focused on middle school students. The counselor will provide essential support and guidance to enhance students' emotional well-being and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group counseling services tailored to middle school students.
• Develop and implement intervention plans addressing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student development.
• Maintain accurate and confidential caseload records.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success strategies.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Proven experience as a school counselor, preferably within a middle school environment.
• Strong understanding of adolescent development and related counseling techniques.
• Ability to manage a moderate caseload effectively.
• Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant counseling credentials or licensure.

Location: Norristown, Pennsylvania
Schedule: 20 hours per week
Duration: Full semester contract
