Our client is a global non-profit organization dedicated to making a positive impact. They are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Accountant to join their team and ensure their financial operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Job Description: As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of accrual GAAP-based accounting, including reviewing and reconciling financial reports. You will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee accrual GAAP-based accounting processes.
Review and verify the accuracy of financial work performed by other team members.
Perform reconciliations of accounts, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Manage fixed assets and inventory reporting.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Prepare and analyze financial reports to support management decisions.
Provide guidance and support to other accounting staff.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred).
Proven experience in accrual GAAP-based accounting.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.
Experience with reviewing and verifying financial work.
Proficiency in account reconciliations and financial reporting.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
